Sport journal – Weapon of choice



It’s not news that I love tennis. I started playing at the age of 4 and my racquet is definitely still my weapon of choice. The Australian Open just came to an end with Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic as the Champions. Although my favourites Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova was not the winners the final match-ups was truly a great watch! Can’t wait for the Roland Garros grand slam to start in June!

Power smoothies as a breakfast gives you just the kick-start that you need! Currently my favourite smoothie is a combination of two bananas, milk, fruit juice, strawberry yogurt, strawberry flavoured Future Life cereal and a little bit of ice to chill it. In action @ Flute Fair



The TwoRedPens team put together an elegant evening this friday at the Emnotweni Arena in Nelspruit. The annual Flute Fair is a Champagne and Sparkling wine tasting evening where guests could get the chance to taste more than 50 different types of Sparkling wine.

The event was perfectly organised and with over 200 guests we can call it a big success. The sales and marketing of this event was done by me and with the help of a Facebook campaign we increased our likes on our page by 1200. Word of mouth can now grow for following years with the large number of people that likes our page and the people who attended the event.

There were a large number of prizes that was given away on the evening and fun competitions like taking a interesting out-of-the-box selfie at the event and posting it on our page.

The guests enjoyed the beautifully made up venue and the lovely canapes that was served on the evening.

I had an absolute ball with the team and thanks to all the suppliers for taking the time to let us taste your lovely ranges of Sparkling Wine.

Stationary – Logo design


Logos represent not only a company’s name but the look and feel of the company as well as the type of people that work there. It might seem a bit like judging a book by its cover but it is exactly that.

I am currently doing an internship at TwoRedPens in Nelspruit and I got the opportunity to work on a few designs for a company that wanted to redo their logo. It is extremely difficult to think out new and creative ideas that hasn’t been done before but challenge excepted. Although they did not choose one of my designs in the end I had so much fun playing around with ideas and working on different concepts.

Make sure your logo is not just a letter or a random picture because like I said, it portrays a business’ image!
