“The Inside Scoop” Part 10

Untitled2

A new and exciting “The Inside Scoop” has arrived on The Little Pink Book’s Blog!

The very first and most important thing for me at a wedding is the bride’s wedding dress.

It is super important for the bride to find her perfect dream wedding dress!

Everyone dreams about their big white wedding someday when they are small and for Natalee her time has finally come.

Choosing the perfect wedding dress should be a fun and joyous experience.

Here are a couple of tips from Anemike from Crystals and Creme Wedding Dress Boutique:

When do I start looking?

Make an appointment for your first fitting at least six to eight months prior to your wedding, maybe even earlier if you’d like.

This should be a very nice experience without feeling rushed at all.

What to expect?

Every Bride have an exact idea of what her dress will look like, but it’s only when you see yourself in a dress that you will know if it works or not.

I think each bride experience a total rush of emotions when seeing herself in her final design. There may be tears of joy and total love streaming down your face or you may only just smile broadly of happiness!

Who do I take with?

Only take along your mother or sister or maid of honour for your first fitting.

I believe you should have another pair of eyes as well as someone to share this phenomenal experience with.

At Crystals and Creme they believe that every bride is very special and deserves only the best!

Natalee has chosen them to design and make her dress and we are all excited to see the final result.

“The Inside Scoop” Part 8

There is a new Inside Scoop out on The Little Pink Book’s Blog!!

I was fortunate enough to have worked with this wonderful girl and it was an absolute pleasure to have gotten to know her.

Although I was invited to tag along on their engagement photoshoot (and REALLY wanted to go), I unfortunately couldn’t.

She is definitely not used to be in front of the camera and indeed prefers to be behind it, but she looked like a natural!

Stefan and Annerien from ZaraZoo Photography certainly made them feel relaxed and they had a great time at 3de Steen on the West Coast!

The lighting was perfect, their outfits looked amazing and the sunset truly made every photo seen magical.

Marilese made sure Natelee looked gorgeous in her natural tones.

ZaraZoo’s Blog has the full photo shoot to see more of these absolutely amazing photos.

The latest Inside Scoop was posted on The Little Pink Book’s Blog!

So far we have revealed which VenueCoordinatorDécorPhotographer and Photo Booth they have chosen!

Every bride needs TLC on the day of their wedding and makeup is a very important part.

It is important to choose professional wedding makeup artists and hair stylists because they have the secrets to working with every face shape, hair type and skin type.

It is rather important to make sure as an artist that you let the bride’s natural beauty shine.

I can say, without any doubt in my mind, that Natalee is an absolute natural beauty and can wear no makeup at all and still look stunning.

She chose the fantastic Marilese Makeup.

You can also go have a look at the couple’s Pinterest Board.

PHOTOGRAPHY! To quickly recap on the previous post take a look at Part 5.

Natalee is a photographer herself and I am sure it was quite a task to find a photographer to fit her standards from taking the photos to the editing. They chose the very talented Yolandé Marx because she embodies exactly what the couple wants for their look and feel of their wedding and photographs.

I am sure for every bride out there it is hugely important to have a fantastic photographer because a wedding hopefully only happens once in a lifetime and capturing all the memories made is crucial!

Even little things are important to capture, like a laughing guest or a grandmother letting go of a tear during the ceremony. Therefore there MUST be a PHOTOBOOTH!!!

Barry & Natelee are a fun couple and what better way to share the fun with their guests than a Photo Booth?!

They keep guests of all ages entertained, it is a great ice breaker because of all the fun props you can use, and you can walk away with a lasting memory.

The Original Retro Photo Booth Company will be setting up at the couples wedding.

They deliver great quality images with instant duplicate photo strip prints – that’s two copies of each – and online uploads so that you and your guests can relive the more crazy memories from your wedding day.

PHOTOGRAPHY!

Natalee is a photographer herself and I am sure it was quite a task to find a photographer to fit her standards from taking the photos to the editing.

Every photographer has his or her own unique style and it is definitely best to choose someone who fits your style and compliments your wedding look.

Natalee and Barry chose Yolandé Marx Photography because she embodies exactly what the couple wants for their look and feel of their wedding and photographs.

They are looking for something soft and natural but still has an elegant feel to it.

At ZaraZoo photography it is key to capture natural moments in the right lighting and therefore I presume that Natalee, with her critical eye, was also looking for someone to capture those moments.

According to Yolandé, she strives for natural and relaxed photographs that are not forced and awkward instead of direct posed ones because she wants to capture the couples chemistry and love for one another.

I am sure for every bride out there it is hugely important to have a fantastic photographer because a wedding hopefully only happens once in a lifetime and capturing all the memories made is crucial!

Even little things are important to capture, like a laughing guest or a grandmother letting go of a tear during the ceremony.

It is extremely important to choose the correct photographer that fits all your wants and needs.

Barry and Natelee loves everything unique and chose something different for their venue as well.

They chose the perfect, funky, quirky Festa in Wellington!

The couple’s favorite food is Pizza, and Festa, with its wood fired Pizza Oven, vintage furniture and fireplace, was the perfect match for what they had in mind!

Festa is situated next to the elite wedding venue, Kleinevalleij on the Bainskloof Road.
